Valentine’s Bleagh
I hate Valentine’s Day. I may have mentioned this before. It feels quite manufactured to me. Normally, I just go around ignoring all the hoopla and shiny foil hearts that people feel the need to decorate with. Unfortunately, my page-a-day origami calendar won’t let me feign ignorance.
Every day this week, it’s given me a different heart design to fold. I don’t really know what to do with these hearts and the other origami creations I make. I’ve been recycling them because some are ugly, and some are ugly because I can’t fold them. Any ideas?

A Page from my Origami Calendar
My younger brother got me this calendar for Christmas, and I brought it to work so I could fold something new every day. The paper is pre-cut to the right size, loose, has a neat design on the back, and every day I fold yesterday’s page into today’s origami. Happy folding!
